Wesley Quinn Booher Sr., age 85 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his home following a lingering illness. Quinn was born on July 9, 1932 in Hesperia to James Henry and Manilla Vera (Gleason) Booher and has been a lifelong resident of the area. Quinn had been a supervisor at Gerber Products for many years until his retirement and enjoyed golfing and gaming. Quinn also was a veteran of the United States Army where hs served as Sgt. during the Korean War.
Quinn is survived by his children, Leon (Janice) Booher of Northville, Michigan; Joy (Brad) Stevenson of Orange County, California; Pam Booher of Hartford, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Jessica Booher-Cousino, Cassie Stevenson, Jenna Booher; his brothers, James (Rita) Booher; Dennis Booher; his daughter-in-law, Mary Glover-Booher; several nieces and nephews. Quinn was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Manilla Booher; his son, Wes Booher Jr. in 2015; his sister, Jane Reynolds; his brothers, Dale Booher, Richard Booher, Mark Booher and Gerald Booher. .
Private services will be held at a later date following Quinn's request for cremation. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the American Lung Association in memory of Quinn.
