Wilfred George Hope, age 83, of Hesperia, passed away on May 2, 2011, at Harbor Hospice Poppen Hospice House in Muskegon. He was born on January 25, 1928, in Grosse Pointe to George Wilfred and Meta C. (Peglow) Hope and married Shirley Cischke on June 25, 1949, was a Plant Manager for Chrysler until his retirement, and a proud Navy WWII Veteran. George is survived by his wife Shirley; children, Sandra Stewart of Huntsville, AL, Patricia (Steve) Matthews of Sterling Hts., Robert Hope of Hesperia, and Kenneth Hope of Sterling Hts.; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. VISITATION: Wednesday, May 4th , from 6-8 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. FUNERAL SERVICES: 11AM Thursday at the Funeral Home with interment following in South Ferry Cemetery.
