Wade, William A. William Allen Wade, age 38 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday evening, April 19, 2006 at his home following a short illness. Bill was born on October 20, 1967 in Muskegon to Henry and Joyce (Dutcher) Wade and has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area and had worked for the State of Michigan at the Veterans Home as a nurse for several years until his retirement. Bill graduated from Fremont High School in 1986 and soon joined and served in the United States Army and later met and married Jody Barnhard on July 16, 1994 in Fremont. He attended the Fremont Christian Church Disciples of Christ, enjoyed theater including being an active member of the Stage Door Players, participated in the Dinner Theater at Double JJ Resort, enjoyed playing sports and was an avid Detroit Lions Fan. He is survived by his wife, Jody of Fremont; his daughters, Tiffany Barnhard, Amber Wade, Stephanie Wade, Brittany Wade all of Fremont; his parents, Henry and Joyce Wade of Twin Lake; his sisters, Michelle Kalfsbeek of Fremont; Kari (Steve) Kilts of Grant; John (Christine) Wade of Fremont; his nephews, Nathan, Aaron, Adam Thompson; Steven, Matthew, Kody, Kilts; Jacob, Christian Wade, Tyler Fox; his aunt, Clarice VanDyke of Fremont; his father-in-law, Lincoln Barnhard of Fremont; sisters-in-laws, Cindy Barnhard of Fremont; Rhonda Barnhard of Fremont; his brother-in-law, Lincoln Barnhard Jr. of Fremont. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 from the Fremont Christian Church Disciples of Christ Church with Rev. David Dickinson presiding. Friends may consider the William A. My older sister Annie (Decker) married to Dave Dexter, who both knew him better. Doing some family geanology in some of the Fremont web sites, I stumbled across this obit for Bill, noticing some of his family married into the Kilts family. My name is Jim Kilts.
