On July 17, 2025, William F. Baker Sr., 73, of Grant, passed away peacefully at home. He was born on November 16, 1951 in Modesto, California to his parents, William Charles Baker and Lucille Pearl Baker. Throughout his life, William was lovingly known as "Trouble" to his loved ones and new acquaintances alike.

An avid fisherman his whole life, William preferred the outdoors and took any chance he could to get away and cast a line. He was a true ice cream enthusiast and a spot-on Donald Duck impressionist, often making those around him chuckle. William proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a faithful follower of Christ who loved talking to people and never missed an opportunity to share the Gospel.

William is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Baker, as well as his son, William F. Baker Jr.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Diane Baker; children: Christina De Anda Scaia (Noah) and Stephanie Lewis (Corey); grandchildren, Jonathan Baker, Lilliana Roberson, Quintin (Sarah) Baker, Delilah Roberson, Gabriel Miller, Joshua Baker, Braxton Lewis, Thaddeus Lewis, Solomon De Anda Scaia, and Francesca De Anda Scaia; and great-grandchild, Azalia Baker.

Arrangements are in the care of Crandell Funeral Home, Fremont, Michigan. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Christian Life Center in Fremont at 1:00 P.M.
