William "Bill" Charles Schelske, age 76 of Twin Lake, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at his home surrounded by family following a long battle with cancer. Bill was born on October 15, 1947, to Clifford and Wilma (Jepsen) Schelske. Bill had served honorably in the United States Army and was a lifelong patriot. Bill married Frieda Archuletta, lovingly known to him as "Freddy" on October 7, 1972, and was a lifelong resident of the Twin Lake area. Bill was a avid sports fan and had many joys in his life including spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, and creating cooking concoctions. In 2023, Bill made the decision to give his life to Jesus and he attended River of life Church in Twin Lake.

Bill is survived by his wife Frieda Schelske; his daughters, Debbie (Mark) Stanfield; Carla (Randy) Jackson; his grandchildren, Brooke (Adam) Hersey; Samantha (Joshua) Zender; Cassondra (Darnell) Stanfield; Josiah (Anna) Stanfield; Maddison (Jericho) Maring; Jakob (Morgan) McCastle; great grandchildren, Brody; Ryan; Kayne; Adelaide; Laiken; Connor; Emmaline; Kopeland; Boswell; Charlotte; Halstyn; Daniel; Magnolia; his sisters, Judy Marvin; Linda Kibart; and several nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Wilma Schelske; brothers, Clifford (Butch) Schelske; Jack Schelske; and his son-in-law, Keven McCastle.

VISITATION : Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 3-5pm and Monday, March 4, 2024 from 11am – 11:45am  at River of Life Church 4860 Holton Road Twin Lake, Michigan 49457. MILITARY HONORS : Monday, March 4, 2024 at 12 p.m. at River of Life Church. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, March 4, 2024 at 12:15 pm (immediately following military honors) .
