William T. Dick, age 88 of White Cloud, formerly of Bloomfield Hills, passed away Monday, December 31, 2001 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont following a short illness. He was born on September 29, 1913 in Detroit to Harry and Ina (Truax) Dick and married his wife of 60 years, Patricia Huckins on June 29, 1940 in Detroit. William had been the owner and operator of the William T. Dick Associates Company where he was a manufacturing representative until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing, coin collecting and the history of World War II where he served in the United States Army Signal Corps. He is survived by his wife, Patricia of White Cloud; his daughter, Deborah (Mark) VanRiette of White Cloud; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Kurt) Brown of White Cloud; Kevin Strait; Ray VanRiette; Joshua VanRiette; Justin Watters; great grandson, Parker Dorwin; great granddaughter, Hannah Brown all of White Cloud; sister-in-law, Paula Samways of South Lyon, MI; nephews, Paul (Pam) Samways of Hamburg, MI; Mark (Peggy) Samways of Pinckney, MI; niece, Diane Carroll of Chula Vista, California. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie on July 31, 2000 Funeral memorial services were held on Wednesday, January 9, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev.
