William "Bill" Glenn Worthing, age 85, of Twin Lake passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at his home. Bill was born on August 30, 1938, in Muskegon to William E. and Tressa M. (Schrader) Worthing and married Arlene Ann Zerlaut on September 22, 1960, in Muskegon. Bill had worked as a parts buyer for Reliable Auto Body, and enjoyed gardening, cutting firewood, farming, and was a member of the Fremont First Baptist Church. Bill is survived by his children, April (Travis) Leach and Mark (Kathy) Worthing; grandchildren, Mark D. Lash Jr., Jonathan A. Lash, William E. (Brittany) Lash, Jamin M. (Hali) Lash, Dakota T. Lash, Geoffrey G. Worthing, Chelsea L. (Josh) Macowan, and Caelim A. Worthing; great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Asher, Penelope, Killian, Clementine, Kaison, Gwendolyn, Mia, Caspian, and Abel; sister, Lorna Stroud; and brother-in-law, James Dochstadar. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene in 2014; brother, Arnold C. Worthing; sister, Wilma Dochstader; grandson, Cedric C. Worthing; and brother-in-law, Benjamin Stroud. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 25, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Fremont. A private interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.
