William Bill J. McGee, age 64 of Howard City, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his home following his battle with cancer. Bill was born on May 22, 1951 in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1970. After graduation, Bill joined the United States Navy until his honorable discharge and return to the Fremont Area. Bill met and later married Patricia Hansen on July 23, 1976 in Fremont. Bill had worked at Walter Hogen Golf Equipment, Gerber Products, Sappi Paper Products, and later retired from Magna Donnelly Mirrors. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying airplanes and was an animal lover. Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia of Howard City; his daughters and their children, Amanda (Marcus) Mooney and Holden, Ava, and Jagger of Sand Lake; Alexandria (Kyle) Mallory and Ivy and Eve of Howard City; his mother, Doris Bock of Fremont; his brothers and sisters, Richard Buck (Terry) McGee of Norton Shores; Jeanne Bock of Fremont; Frank (Cindy) Bock of Fremont; Joni Kison of North Muskegon; Julie Rogers of Holton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Marie Hansen of Fremont; brother-in-law, Greg (Geneieve) Hansen of Fremont; step brother, Robert Frens of Detroit; 9 nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his step father, Frank Bock on January 16, 2015; his grandfather, Alexander McGee and his nephew, Joey Bock. VISITATION : Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 4-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel and Friday, June 26, 2015 from 12-1pm.
