McDowell, William Quant J-seph William Quant J-seph McDowell, age 5 of Big Rapids, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at the Mecosta County General Hospital in Big Rapids. William was born on March 20, 2000 in Grand Rapids and attended Tots Place Head Start and Eastwood PPI in Big Rapids. William enjoyed climbing trees; Sponge Bob Square Pants, football, playing with his brother, listening to music, video games. William was also dedicated at the Glory of the Latter House Ministries in White Cloud and will be missed by his family and friends. William is survived by his mother, Ruby Anderson (Anthony Carter) of Big Rapids; his father, Yorel McDowell (Stephanie Polega) of Grand Rapids; his brother, Emag McDowell of Big Rapids; maternal grandmother, Verelene Anderson of White Cloud; paternal grandparents, Alfreda Shotwell of San Diego, California; LeRoy McDowell of San Diego, California; his aunts, Rayella (Dwight) Warren of White Cloud; V. Chkwna Anderson of White Cloud; his uncles, Carl (Lisa) Anderson Jr. of Tacoma, Washington; Danny Brown of Tacoma Washington; Cyrus Jackson of Tacoma, Washington; his cousins, Shimian Warren; Patrice Warren; DMonet Warren; Deion Warren all of White Cloud; Sarah Anderson; Carla Anderson; Caleb Anderson all of Tacoma, Washington; his godmother, Kondra Bell; several great aunts and uncles; a host of other relatives, friends and church family. William was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Anderson and by his cousin, Ladell Warren. Celebration of Life Services were held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Glory of the Latter House Ministries in White Cloud with Elder L. Murchison presiding. Interment is in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery. Friends may consider the William McDowell Family to assist with funeral expenses for memorial contributions in memory William.
