William P. Johnson, age 81, of Fremont, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012, at Spectrum Health Services Gerber Memorial in Fremont. Bill was born on August 20, 1930, in Schenectady, New York, to Carlton Ross and Marion Randolf (Pierce) Johnson and married Arlene Dorothy Case on September, 27, 1952, in Cobleskill, New York. Bill was an engineer and retired from Gerber Products Company after almost 40 years. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Arlene; children, Duane (Lori) Johnson of Fremont, Cynthia (Michael) Self of Maryland, David (Amy) Johnson of Fremont, Timothy Johnson of Fremont, and Christine (Phillip) DeMars) Cory of Fremont; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Davis of Rochester, New York; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at 1PM, Thurday, July 12, 2012, at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. There will be a time of visitation to meet with the family from 11AM - 1PM.
