William Big Bill A. McMenamy, age 46 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, January 21, 2008 at his home. Bill was born on February 15, 1961 in Garden City, Michigan to Charles John and Virginia Mae (Carriveau) McMenamy and graduated from Woodhaven High School. He moved to the White Cloud area in 1987 and had worked as a mechanic in the automotive industry for several years. Bill was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud and enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting. He was also known for his storytelling and treasured the time he spent with his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends. Bill is survived by his sisters and brothers, Carol Martel of White Cloud; John (Patricia) McMenamy of Detroit; Mary L. McMenamy of Detroit; Charles J. McMenamy Jr. of White Cloud; Max Joe (Sherrie) McMenamy of Chicago; Delores (Robert) LaPointe of Temperance, Michigan; George (Tonya) McMenamy of Cedar Springs; Veronica (Lenny) Martin of Wayne, Michigan; 13 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia in 1994 and Charles in 1996; and by his sister, Virginia Collins. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 25, 2008 at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Father Peter Chukwu presiding with interment in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
