William H. Truman, 88, of White Cloud went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 29, 2015. William was born on August 19, 1926, in Battle Creek to Merrill and Eunice (Griffith) Truman and married Florence Isabelle Brubaker on March 23, 1952, in Petoskey. William was a baker for Keebler for 36 years and served in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors and attended the Lake Community Bible Church. William is survived by his loving wife, Florence; children, Ruth (Jonas) Moses of Brimley, Steve (Grace) Truman of Grand Rapids, Mary (Mike) Patterson of White Cloud, and Beth (Mike) Brooks of Florida; 9 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; sisters and brother, Barbara (Herbert) Hemmes of Harbor Springs, Rosemarie (Michael) Wilson of Petoskey, and Kenneth (Cherrie) Truman of Petoskey. He is preceded by 3 great grandchildren already in Heaven and by his brother Robert Truman. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Monday, February 2, 2015, at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2 5 PM at the funeral home.
