IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Richard
Visser
March 20, 1970 – October 29, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Richard Visser, who left us to be in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at the age of 54. William was born on March 20th, 1970, and spent his life enriching the world around him with love, laughter, and dedication.
William is lovingly remembered by his cherished wife, Nicole Visser, and his adored children, Tyler (Kaitlynn) Hall and Zachary Hall. He was a proud grandfather to his delightful grandson, Hadley, and shared a deep bond with his surviving brothers, Edward (Deb) Visser, Mike Visser, and Tom (Connie) Visser. William also leaves behind a devoted mother-in-law, Celia Peterlein, and father-in-law, Robert M. Peterlein, as well as brothers-in-law, Robert K. Peterlein and Scott Peterlein. His many nieces and nephews will also carry his memory forward with affection and admiration. Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margaret Visser, his brother, Marc Visser, and his sister, Alida (Doug) Russell.
William's passions were as vast as they were inspiring. He found joy in the simplicity and grandeur of nature, spending countless hours fishing on the Muskegon River with so many of his friends and family, hunting, camping and gardnening. His career of 30 years which he loved as a plumber/pipefitter was with the West Michigan Plumber, Fitters and Service Trades Local Union No. 174 (he was an original member of Local 154 that merged with Local 70 to become Local 174). He was so proud to be a part of the union where he built so many long lasting friendships with so many of his brothers and sisters, that he loved deeply. He attended Harvest Fremont Church, where he fostered many deep and meaningful relationships with his brothers and sisters in Christ. William's legacy is one of love, family, and friendship, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate William's life and honor his memory during the visitation on Monday, November 4th, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Crandell Funeral Homes Inc, Fremont, MI.
