Wilma J. Champion, age 85, of White Cloud passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Alter Care of Big Rapids. Wilma was born on November 14, 1928, in Muskegon to Henry Joseph and Lillian R. (Huffman) Fortin and had been active in the Eastern Star. Wilma is survived by her children, Judy (Ken) Thomas of White Cloud, William (Amy) Martin of Lapeer, Michigan and Peggy A. Martin of Auburn, Washington; grandchildren, Kresta Graham, Kimberly Meyer, Emily Martin, Ellen Martin, and Cole Martin; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Lexie, Katie, Boyd, Bryan, and Christian; and several nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Champion in 1998; brother, Merle; and twin sister, Zelda. Visitation for Wilma will be on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 2 5 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
