Wilma "Willie" Louise Seng, age 82 of Hesperia and formerly of Muskegon, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Corewell Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Wilma was born on March 30, 1941 in Niles, Michigan to Henry and Flossie (Iteen) Sherman and graduated from Ludington High School in 1959. Wilma was raised by Flossie and Charles Anthony and married Ronald Seng on June 15, 1963 in Muskegon. Ron preceded her in death on March 30, 2001. Wilma had worked for General Telephone and later worked in the family business, Seng Enterprises for many years until her retirement. Wilma and Ron moved to the Hesperia area in 1997 from Muskegon where she was a member of the Hesperia American Legion Auxiliary, Hesperia Chamber of Commerce, and over 33 year member of the Michigan License Beverage Association. Willie enjoyed spending time on her Massey Ferguson Tractor; watching the White River flow by with the eagles, deer and wildlife. Willie and Ron traveled to all 50 states in search of field stones to incorporate into their forever home and enjoyed road trips with friends for treats and treasures. Willie was one of the founders of the Beach League Girls Baseball Program in Fruitport and was instrumental in fund raising for the Hesperia Fire Works show on July 4th . Willie is survived by her children, Steven Leo (Lori) Seng of Muskegon; Rhonda Louise (Alan) Corpe of Muskegon; Jodie Lyn (Dale) Coller of Byron Center; her grandsons, Dustyn Corpe; Ryan Kooiman, Jaxon Mann, Logan Coller, Branden Coller; her sister, Janice Anthony of Coopersville; several nieces and nephews. Willie was preceded in death by her husband, Ron; her mother, Flossie Anthony; father, Henry Sherman; step father, Charles Anthony.
