Wilma Clare Woodhouse, age 98 of North Muskegon passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. Wilma was born on January1, 1907 in Chicago, Illinois to Lynn A. and Ruby C. (Grannis) Hathaway and married Philip E. Woodhouse on June 15, 1926 in Muskegon. Together they raised their family of four daughters in North Muskegon. Wilma was a charter member of the Muskegon Camera Club and together with her husband shared a love of nature photography and won numerous awards for her photos. Partnered with her husband, she was an avid shuffleboard player and won many awards in Michigan and Florida. She leaves with each of her children and grandchildren a treasured example of her creative endeavors. She is survived her daughter, V. Arlene (Ray) Frodey; her sons-in-law, Donovan Hanson and Stanley Guy; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 73 years of marriage, Philip E. Woodhouse; her daughters, Coral Hanson, Janet Guy and Linda Kiggins and by her grandson, Jon Hanson. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 22, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev. Mary Frens String presiding with interment in the Laketon Township Cemetery in North Muskegon.
