Winnie Bee Lance, age 95 of Holton, passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side.  Winnie was born on April 21, 1929 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to Clyde Watson and Izetta Olive (Farber) Adrian and later married Dale W. Lance in Nevada.  Dale preceded her in death in 1998.  Winnie had been a Kindergarten teacher with the Kentwood Public Schools from 1963-1982 when Winnie retired from teaching.  Winnie enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, listening to music, cooking and gardening, and enjoyed being in Michigan nature.  Winnie was a member of the Twin Lake Community Church.

Winnie is survived by her sons, Peter (Susan) Lance of Fremont; Gordon (Kelly) Lance of Twin Lake; her grandchildren, Seireana (Jay) Florez; Erin Lance; Jennifer Lance; Jessica Lance; Nicholas Lance; Orion Lance; Robert (Jess) Lance; and her many great-grandchildren.  Winnie was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; her sisters, Ione Adrian, Irma Lungren, Golda Compton, Eunice Adrian; brothers, Leslie Adrian, Herbert Adrian, Jack Adrian, and Russell Adrian.
