Zachary J. Hall, age 26 of Muskegon and formerly of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 8, 2017. Zach was born on June 17, 1991 in Muskegon to Denise C. (Walker) and Donnie J. Hall and graduated from Fremont High School in 2010. Zachary had been active in the football and basketball program at Fremont schools and had been a motocross racer in his younger years growing up. Zachary later became a tool and die maker and was currently working at DieTech in Muskegon. Zach enjoyed his dog, Gracie May and playing disc golf, was an avid Michigan Football fan, enjoyed following the Detroit Lions and Tigers, ice fishing, boating and tubing and being on the water. Zach especially enjoyed spending time with his family and socializing with his friends. Zach is survived by his mother, Denise Hall of Muskegon; his father, Donnie Hall of Daphne, Alabama; his sister, Makenzie Hall of North Muskegon; maternal grandmother, Linda Walker of Muskegon; his aunts and uncles, Lisa (Mark) Jensen of North Muskegon; Roy Walker II of Whitehall; Bill (Laurie) Hall of Holton; Sally Hall of Fremont; Jill Hall of Fulton, Michigan; Charlie (Paula) Hall of Fremont; many cousins, great aunts, and uncles; many friends. Zach was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roy Walker; his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Donna Hall; and his uncle, Alan Hall. VISITATION : Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 3-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICES : Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel 7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI 49412. INTERMENT : Maple Grove Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Fremont Public Schools for a memorial fund to be established later.
