Jerry Robert Mumper

Jerry Robert Mumper, age 84, of Belding passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Metron of Belding. Jerry was born on September 12, 1934, in White Cloud to James and Frances (Ritter) Mumper and married Mamie Ethel Hyde on October 12, 1963, in Fremont. Jerry was a machinist at Sealed Power in Muskegon for over 31 years and served in the United States Army. He enjoyed building and traveling the county and served 13 years with the Mobile Missionary Assistance Program. Jerry considered his home church to be Calvary Memorial in North Muskegon.

Jerry is survived by his son Tony (Michelle) Baker of Holton; 8 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie in 2016; sons, Stephen Baker and James Mumper; all his brothers and sisters, Nate, Chuck, Ralph, Jean, Fern, Marge, and Annamae.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at the White Cloud Church of God Ministry Center (1621 S. Evergreen Ave. White Cloud, MI 49349) with Bishop Jim Fader officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening March 25, 2019, at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud from 5 – 8 PM and on Tuesday at the Church one hour prior to the service. Friends are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Association for a more lasting memorial. Friends may share memories and condolences online at www.crandellfh.com.
