Henry DeYoung Obituary
Henry Junior DeYoung, age 63 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at the Newaygo County Compassion Home in White Cloud following a battle with cancer. Henry was born on June 25, 1957 in Grand Rapids to Willard and Fern (Kargt) DeYoung and moved to the White Cloud area over 30 years ago from Grand Rapids. Henry had been an Arborist and self employed tree harvester and cutter most of his life. Henry enjoyed working in his garage – fixing anything with a motor including saws and working with anything wood related.
Henry is survived by his children, Caroline DeYoung and Michael DeYoung; his brother, Carroll DeYoung of Grant; his sister, Bonnie (Brian) Elzinga of Walker; several nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by his significant other, Annette Smith.
