Janet Kremmel Obituary
Janet Lee Kremmel, age 72, of Hesperia passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019, at Mercy Health Partners – Mercy Campus in Muskegon. Jan was born on November 29, 1946, in Muskegon to Herbert and Jane (McCune) Bensinger and married John George Kremmel on October 29, 1988 in Fruitport. Jan had worked at Hackley Hospital in the coffee shop and enjoyed painting, crafts, cooking and baking, and her dogs. She was a member of the Fremont United Methodist Church.
Jan is survived by her children, Steven (Jessica) Anderson of Nunica, Russell (Angie) Anderson of Hesperia, and Jane (Jake) Orban of Hesperia; mother, Jane Bensinger of Ferrysburg; brother, Jerry (Kathy) Bensinger of Ravenna; grandchildren, Taylor (Jake) Sorenson, Allen Anderson, Ashton Anderson, Liam Gibson, Claire Anderson, and Emma Orban; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Evelyn, and Bentley; many nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law, Denise Anderson; and her best friend of 47 years, Sharon Vanderbough. Jan was preceded in death by her husband, John; son, William Anderson; daughter, Dana Anderson; father, Herbert Bensinger; and brother, Paul Bensinger.
A Celebration of Life for Jan will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Fremont United Methodist Church with Pastor Julie Fairchild officiating. There will also be a time of visitation with the family one hour prior to the celebration at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
