Norman L. Kitter, age 72 of White Cloud, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his home. Norm was born on November 30, 1948 in Highland Park, Michigan to Ludwig and Elsie Frieda (Neuman) Kitter and later moved to the Grand Rapids area. Norm became a Certified Diesel Mechanic and Certified Welder and had worked at Ottawa Aggregates in Grand Rapids and later started Norms Welding and Fabricating which he owned and operated until his retirement. Norm married Luann Lenz on September 18, 2004 in Newaygo. Norm enjoyed working his entire life and tinkering at his home in his retirement.
Norm is survived by his wife, Luann of White Cloud; his children, Sharon (John) Kitter Day of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Michael Kitter of Powers, Michigan; Kevin Kitter of Powers, Michigan; Eric Kitter of Iron Mountain, Michigan; his grandchildren, Hannah and Eli; his sisters, Kris Kitter and Linda Kitter. Norm was preceded in death by his parents, Ludwig and Elsie and by his sister, Martha.
