Our Fremont Chapel was built in 2000 after having operated our chapel on Dayton Street in downtown Fremont for over 70 years, the Crandell Family felt the need to offer more options to the families we serve. The Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel features over 10,000 square feet of building space including handicap accessable to all areas,a 2400 square feet chapel and visitation area with video tribute capabilities, seating for 300 people, a large welcoming lobby with fireplace, spacious bathrooms, family lounge area. Our arrangement area offers many options and selections for traditional and cremation products and services to assist you in planning the proper tribute for you and your family.

From Muskegon

Take Northbound U.S. 31 to M-120 East. Turn Right on M-120 (driving through Twin Lake and Holton) to M-82. Please follow detour signs to M-82 and Stone Road and then turn Right on M-82 West and continue West to Green Ave turn Right on Green Ave. and Right into parking lot.Turn

From Grand Rapids

US 96 to M37 (Alpine Avenue or Newaygo exit) North on Alpine Avenue to M-82 West on North Side of Newaygo. Turn Left on M-82 from M-37 to 4 way stop light in Fremont , (apx 10 miles). Turn left at stop light, travel 3 1/2 miles to Green Avenue Turn Right on Green and Right into parking lot.

From Detroit/Lansing

From Big Rapids

U.S. 131 South to Exit 131 (M-20 - Stanwood exit) turn Left or West on M-20 and travel 16 miles to stoplight in White Cloud. Turn Right travel 1 ½ miles to M-20 West. Turn Left on M-20 West to Hesperia and M-120. Turn Left on M-120 to M-82 and turn left on M-82 and travel 3 ½ miles to funeral home. Turn left onto Green Avenue and Right into parking lot.
